JOHNNY Depp’s 16-year-old son Jack is said to be battling “serious health problems”.
The status of the teenager’s health was revealed after his mum – Johnny‘s ex Vanessa Paradis – had to skip the premiere of her film in Paris last night.
Vanessa – who was with Johnny from 1998-2012 – was lined up to attend the premiere of A Knife In The Heart, but she had to bow out at the last minute.
The film’s director Yann Gonzalez was then forced to explain Vanessa’s shock absence.
He said: “Unfortunately, Vanessa Paradis was not able to join us tonight, she had to be absent because of her son’s serious health problems.”
Jack and his mother were photographed at Charles De Gaulle on Monday, and he seemed to be in good spirits – so it’s not entirely obvious what his health problems are.
While Vanessa rushed to the aid of her son, Johnny was on tour with his band Hollywood Vampires
The Sun Online has contacted Johnny and Vanessa’s reps for comment.
Vanessa and Johnny – who never married – are also parents to 19-year-old daughter, Lily Rose Depp.
In 2007, Lily – who was then aged 7 – was rushed to hospital with e-coli poisoning, which resulted in temporary kidney failure.
Since their split, Johnny went on to marry – and later divorce – actress Amber Heard, while Vanessa is dating French writer and actor Samuel Benchetrit.
In a recent, jaw-dropping, interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Depp, 55, admitted he spent over £22,000 a month on wine after his split from Amber left him feeling depressed.
Speaking to the publication in London earlier this year over a three-day period, the star recalled the moment he hit rock bottom in 2016 when his marriage collapsed.
He said: “I was as low as I believe I could have gotten.
“The next step was, ‘You’re going to arrive somewhere with your eyes open and you’re going to leave there with your eyes closed.’
“I couldn’t take the pain every day.”
The Hollywood star admitted that his family members had been against him wedding Amber without a prenuptial agreement.
Johnny cut ties with them, as well as long-term managers and friends, and claims to have spent the last two years alone apart from his lawyers and security.
He also explained how his £452million fortune had almost gone, and accused his former management company – with whom he is in an ongoing lawsuit with – for frittering away his funds.
They are countersuing him for payment of fees.
